1. Start with a fingertip of product; you can always add more
2. Rub it evenly between your palms until it softens
3. Work through damp or dry hair, starting where your hair is thickest

Rub it between dry palms until it warms and thins out before it touches your hair; straight from the tub it grabs in clumps. Work from the back forward. Damp hair gives more thickness, dry hair more texture.
