1. Scoop a fingertip of clay and warm it between dry palms until almost clear
2. Work through dry or towel-dried hair from the back to the front
3. Shape with your fingers; add a little more only where you want extra texture

• Beeswax and carnauba wax build a hold that bends instead of cracking

Warm a small amount between dry palms until it turns almost clear. Applied cold it clumps, so start with less than you think and build up. Work it through from the back forward and finish at the front, where you want the most texture.
